Executive Director Begins!
Jim Felder was chosen after a nationwide advertisement of the full time position and a long interview process by the Board.  Already he has designed a handout form for attendance at forums, and is scheduled to speak at two other state organizations.  Jim was the main designer of our four Guidebooks, our logo, and assisted Fred Couch in the application to the National Park Service for our National Recreational Trail status accomplishment.  He has an excellent background in corporate management and in graphic web design.

Jim with a partner has produced several tabletop books about the outdoors, and river trails.  He is both a sea kayaker and canoeist, and welcomes all to our trail's enjoyment.  As we go forward in our mission we invite you to contact Jim jim.felder@gmail.com about any factor of the trail, as he has paddled, camped, or boated the majority of it.  President Couch said "We are very pleased to have attracted Jim to this position and know he will be a wonderful representative for the Trail's forward progress in every County and City along the river corridor!"     Released January 14, 2009
