Who is Eligible?
The Paddling Partners Grant Program welcomes applications from organizations of all sizes and locations in Alabama, recognizing the importance of fostering inclusivity and accessibility in water recreation opportunities. We understand that public access improvements, equipment upgrades, and engaging events are crucial in promoting Alabama’s waterways and getting people out on the water together. Our application process ensures that groups can easily apply for and access the funding they need to positively impact their local community. We aim to create more opportunities for people to build connections, strengthen the paddling community, and enjoy Alabama’s waters.
How to Apply
The 2024 AL Waterways Grant Program will open in January 2024. Further details will be available here in October of 2023. All awarded funds must be used in the same year they are awarded.
