For lunch stroll through Fairhope Avenue’s charming shops and immerse yourself in the town’s thriving art culture, before savoring a delectable lunch at Panini Petes. Conclude your day at Village Point Park in Daphne, where you can discover historic ruins and observe diverse wildlife amidst the natural beauty of one of Mobile Bay’s last public beaches.

Trail Highlights

Day 1

  • Stop 1: Weeks Bay Estuary Visitor’s Center & Boardwalk: Discover the ecological significance of Weeks Bay through educational programs, nature trails, and exhibits at the reserve’s visitor center. Then head out on a hike around the boardwalk keeping an eye out for the stunning blooms of carnivorous Pitcher Plants, adding a unique touch to the scenery.
  • Stop 2: Wander along Fairhope Avenue, exploring charming shops and indulging in the town’s thriving art culture. For lunch we recommend trying out lunch at Panini Petes!
  • Stop 3: Conclude your day at Village Point Park in Daphne, where you can explore historic ruins and observe wildlife amidst one of the last public beaches on Mobile Bay.
